Professional experience and leadership
The
Mission Works is led by Philip N. Witmer, President, who has over three decades
of experience working with non-profit organizations.
A graduate of Lehigh University with a degree in Psychology and American University with a Master’s degree in Counseling, Philip provided group counseling services for many years before moving into program management. His organizational and analytical skills led him to focus on operational efficiency, information management and impact evaluation. This unique combination of clinical experience and technical savvy allows Philip to quickly assess strengths and weaknesses and then formulate strategies for improvement.
As a consultant, he takes a practical, business-like approach to problem solving without losing sight of the mission. His ability to see the “big picture” enables him to turn effective strategic planning into pragmatic solutions for non-profits.
